Disbursements for Freehold Purchases

Disbursements for freehold purchases include approximately £350.00 for searches, Land Registry fees (calculator found on HM Land Registry website), Land Transaction Tax for properties in Wales (the calculator found at the Welsh Revenue Authority website can provide you with the amount of LTT payable on a transaction) or Stamp Duty Land Tax for properties in England (calculator found at HMRC’s website), and we also charge a telegraphic transfer fee of £45.00 to transfer funds on completion.

Disbursements for Leasehold Purchases

Disbursements for leasehold purchases include all of the above and may incur additional disbursements such as Notice of Transfer fees, Notice of Charge fees, Deed of Covenant fee, Certificate of Compliance fees. These charges are cannot be ascertained until we are in receipt of contract documentation and we shall inform you of the same during the course of the transaction.

Disbursements for Freehold Sales

Disbursements for freehold sales include office copy entries usually between £14.00 and £21.00. Should there be a mortgage on the property then there will be a £45.00 telegraphic transfer fee to redeem the mortgage with the lender.

Disbursements for Leasehold Purchases

Disbursements for leasehold sales are usually the same as Freehold Purchases but may also include fees for any management packs from the Landlord/Management
Company. These fees are unknown until we are informed of the cost from the sellers.

Transfers & Deed of Gifts

Fixed Rate of £750.00 plus VAT plus any Disbursements 
Disbursements include a Land Registry fee dependent on the value of the property.
